Children march in a parade in Beaver, PA, on their way to the Beaver County Fair.

Notes:
Beaver County derived its name from its proximity to the Beaver River. The French settlers called it Riviere au Castor, which means Beaver River. There are 54 communities in the county and many of them got their names from local streams and waterways.
